REMIX uses the standard Pallet Sorting Line from PSS for efficient sorting and classifing

Remix in the Netherlands has chosen the standard pallet sorting line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS). This solution provides an efficient way to sort and manage pallets, with a processing capacity of up to 550 pallets per hour. With just one sorter and one forklift operator, Remix can now ergonomically and reliably sort the most common pallet types, such as Euro pallets, industrial pallets, light, middle-weight and heavy and pool pallets (LPR, IPP, CHEP).

As a manufacturing company, the benefits for REMIX are entirely different from those of a Pallet Trading company. At Remix, a company specializes in building materials such as bagged concrete mortar.

• The pallets that REMIX delivers to its customers are also taken back by REMIX (mostly special heavy pallets) those pallets must then be sorted on 2 things type and reusable or repairable.
• By sorting and assessing this ourselves, the pallet flow to the company that normally sorts and repairs them is more than halved and with it the cost of pallet management as well.
• An added benefit is that Pallets that are immediately reusable also go straight back into the pallet pool.
• The machine has a SCADA system that gives a sorting report and this in turn is used to give the Pallet Recovery Company a clear report of numbers and types delivered for recovery.
