AD Pallets in Greece has chosen the Pallet Saw System from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) to organise the processing of pallets and covers in a controlled, safe and efficient way. The reason was practical: daily operations involve a wide variation of pallet types, dimensions and quality levels, including defective pallets.

The PSS Pallet Saw System is designed to handle this variation without manual settings. The system is controlled by AI4Pallets, meaning the operator does not need to define in advance what will be sawn or how it should be processed. Pallets and covers can be fed into the system in a completely random order.

Operation of the Pallet Saw System

The Pallet Saw System automatically recognises the pallet or cover type, determines the correct sawing strategy and independently selects the optimal sawing direction. Pallets with missing or damaged components are also recognised and accepted by the system.

Pallet orientation is not critical. This allows random play feeding: different pallet and cover types, sizes and quality levels can be processed mixed together, without changeovers or downtime.

The sawing process remains consistent and repeatable, regardless of variation in the incoming flow.
