Pallet Solution Invests in a Pallet Sorting and Repair Line

Pallet Solution in Hungary has invested in a pallet sorting and repair line from Pallet Sorting Systems. The installation combines pallet sorting, pallet repair and pallet stacking into one efficient process, reducing internal transport while increasing productivity.

Automatic Sorting into Six Stackers

The system automatically sorts pallets into six different stackers. Five stackers are used to sort pallets by quality and pallet type. The sixth stacker is dedicated to pallets that require repair.

After inspection, every pallet is automatically directed to the correct destination, ensuring a smooth and efficient material flow.

Four Integrated Pallet Repair Stations

The pallet sorting and repair line includes four pallet repair stations. Pallets requiring repair are automatically transported via a side infeed to each repair station in stacks of nine pallets.

After repair, the pallets are automatically returned to the sorting line, where they can be sent to any of the six stackers without manual handling.

Central Waste Handling

All waste wood generated during pallet repair is transported by a central waste conveyor directly to a large waste container. The pallet sorter also uses the same waste transport system for damaged boards and other wooden waste.

This creates a clean, safe and efficient working environment while minimizing manual waste handling.

Daily CSV Production Reports

The pallet sorting and repair line automatically generates a daily CSV production report containing valuable production data, including:

• Number of pallets sorted by category.
• Number of pallets repaired at each repair station.
• Production figures per sorting category.
• Repair output per workstation.

These reports provide valuable management information and help optimize production efficiency and operational performance.
