PSS Sorting System at Euro Pool System: Simple and Effective

Euro Pool System has chosen a PSS sorting system with a practical design based on three gravity roller conveyors:

• 1 Supply lane for unsorted LPR pool pallets
• 2 Discharge conveyors for sorted pallets in good quality or repairable condition

A sorter uses an airlift system to remove pallets from the stack and places them on one of two choice stacks (good or to be repaired), with a maximum of 9 pieces per stack. Once the stack height is reached, the sorter opens an air-controlled door via a foot pedal, then the pallets roll down the gravity conveyor to the end, ready for handling by a forklift.
