The Polish carton manufacturer Jassboard has chosen a fully adjustable pallet sorting and repair line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) to make its internal pallet logistics more efficient and structured. The line combines automatic sorting of multiple pallet formats with the ability to carry out quick on-site repairs. The result: fewer staff required, fewer forklift movements, and a reliable pallet flow.
For Jassboard, it was crucial to process both standard and non-standard pallets. The line is therefore fully width-adjustable (100–135 cm) and can automatically sort Europallets as well as CP3, CP4, CP5, CP7, CP8, and CP9 pallets. This eliminates the need for manual changeovers and ensures a consistent and efficient sorting process.
The line includes four repair stations positioned along the conveyor. Staff receive only defective pallets via side infeed, ensuring the main transport flow remains uninterrupted. Repaired pallets are immediately fed back into the system, saving both time and forklift trips.
The integrated SCADA system and PSS Production App provide real-time insights into throughput, efficiency, and performance per workstation. Managers can monitor live results, even remotely, and make data-driven adjustments.
By sorting and repairing pallets on-site, Jassboard reduces transport needs, lowers dependency on external repair providers, and cuts CO₂ emissions. A closed pallet loop supports both efficiency and the company’s sustainability goals.
With the adjustable pallet sorting and repair line from PSS, Jassboard now benefits from a solution that delivers:
