Efficient pallet processing at PalleKoncept with PSS’s standard pallet sorting line
PalleKoncept has chosen the standard pallet sorting line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) to optimize its processing of Europallets. This solution allows one sorting employee and one forklift driver to sort up to 550 pallets per hour.
The standard pallet sorting line is designed to ensure an efficient and orderly sorting process. The system is modular, making it easy to adapt to PalleKoncept’s needs. The forklift driver supplies pallets, which are then automatically directed to the sorter. Here, the employee sorts the pallets by quality and condition.
The sorted pallets are immediately stacked in the designated areas. Once the stacks are complete they are carried out on the buffer conveyor behind the stackers, here they are picked up by the forklift driver and taken to the opsleg. Thanks to the seamless cooperation between the sorting line and the forklift process, PalleKoncept can significantly increase the throughput of Europallets and minimize manual handling.
The choice of the standard pallet sorting line was made because this machine can handle all types of pallets (such as Europallets, block pallets in the various versions light, medium and heavy) received at Pallekoncept. This line offers not only speed, but also flexibility for future expansion, if needed.
