Pallet Recycling South Wales, a major player in the pallet recycling sector in Wales, is expanding the existing pallet repair line with a double sorting line for sorting IPP pool pallets. The machine will be fully integrated with the customer’s existing pallet repair line with paint booth and HT Printer station.
The sorting line supplied is equipped with a double sorting station, allowing two sorters to check and sort pallets simultaneously. Thanks to this set-up, the good pallets can be stacked directly behind the machine, outside the building, without additional handling or intermediate storage. This not only increases the processing speed, but also ensures a safe and well-organized working environment.
The sorting line is connected to the existing pallet repair line, so that pallets that need repair are automatically forwarded to the repairers. This allows the flow of incoming pallets to proceed smoothly and without delay. The entire line has been designed with a view to maximum automation and minimum human intervention, resulting in lower costs per pallet and higher throughput capacity.
After repair, the pallets are restacked and prepared for a new cycle in the supply chain. The repaired pallets then pass through an advanced paint booth, where they are given a protective coating. Next, the pallets go through an HT Print Station where the HT stamp is added, making them perfectly traceable in the IPP pool system.
Finally, the fully repaired and labeled pallets are automatically brought outside, ready for use by logistics service providers and end users.
With this investment, Pallet Recycling South Wales is responding to the growing need for sustainable, circular solutions within the pallet sector. By choosing a modern sorting line in combination with automated repair and finishing, the company is taking an important step towards a future-proof and environmentally friendly method.
