At Rotom, operational efficiency is a top priority. With the introduction of a new pallet sorting line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) at its Son, Netherlands site, the company highlights its commitment to making pallet logistics more reliable, faster, and more versatile. The line features six stacking stations and optimizes the entire pallet handling process.
The new pallet sorting line can process different pallet types without adjustments – including Euro pallets, industrial pallets, GMA pallets, and medium-duty pallets. In addition, the system enables de-nesting and interlocking of pallets, improving transport efficiency and overall workflow. With a capacity of 550 pallets per hour, Rotom speeds up pallet flow and increases service efficiency.
The line is designed for ease of use: with just one touch, operators can select pallet types directly via an intuitive display – without any physical adjustments. This boosts productivity and minimizes downtime.
Another highlight is the integrated SCADA system, which provides real-time data on sorting efficiency, machine uptime, and the number of pallets processed. This enables management to continuously improve processes, identify bottlenecks early, and maximize overall performance.
The collaboration with PSS fits perfectly with Rotom’s vision of innovation and efficiency. Rotom CEO Arjan Kuiper emphasized: “Your spirit of innovation has delivered reliable and sustainable machines for pallet sorting. We are very much looking forward to the new line.”
By integrating the new pallet sorting line, Rotom strengthens its pallet processing capacity and improves customer satisfaction. With its combination of speed, versatility, and simplicity, the new line delivers shorter processing times and a seamless customer experience.
