First pallet sorting line from PSS for Rotom Son, Netherlands
Rotom Son, Netherlands, was the first within the Rotom Group to purchase one of the first pallet sorting lines from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS). This sorting line was installed outdoors and connected to an existing pallet repair line. To further streamline the process, PSS also added a stacker for the repaired pallets. This configuration allows Rotom to efficiently sort and directly repair pallets, contributing to a more organized and productive work environment.
Pallet sorting line still without buffer or output conveyors
The first pallet sorting lines are still quite basic and without a buffer behind the tilt and without output lanes at the stackers. yet these machines are already good for 300 pallets per hour when working efficiently between operator and forklift driver
With these first machines, PSS is taking steps in the development of pallet sorting and repair that is rapidly developing and maturing.
In 2024 this machine will be replaced for the latest pallet sorting line which can sort up to 600 pallet per hour and can sort not only the most common pallets such as Euro and block pallets, light, medium, and heavy pallets but also the GMA style pallets.
