Van Herpen Pallets has chosen a customized pallet sorting-repair line from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS). This flexible system offers the ability to efficiently processboth LPR pallets and various CP pallet sizes, including CP3, CP4, CP5, CP7, CP8 and CP9. The adjustable settings make the line versatile and perfectly suited to Van Herpen Pallets’ daily operational needs.
Smart sorting and repair with a seamless workflow
At the front of the line, unsorted LPR pallets are fed into the sorting module. Here, a sorting employee assesses the pallets and makes a choice between first choice pallets and pallets to be repaired.
Efficient finishing with the Paintbooth.
The full stacks of repaired pallets are then routed through a Paintbooth, where they are painted red on the outside. After painting, the stacks are prepared on a buffer conveyor ready for the forklift driver to pick them up and take them to the next destination.
Benefits of adjustable settings
Thanks to the adjustable settings, the line can handle not only standard pallets, but also a wide range of CP pallet sizes, such as CP3, CP4, CP5, CP7, CP8 and CP9. This flexibility allows Van Herpen Pallets to respond quickly to different customer needs and pallet sizes.
Real-time insight and control
The line is equipped with the SCADA package and the PSS App, which provide real-time insight into the process. This makes it possible to monitor performance and intervene immediately when necessary, resulting in an optimally managed workflow.
