System Description

The Pallet Saw System from Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) is designed for the automatic dismantling of used pallets and the recovery of reusable pallet components.
This system combines an industrial robot, a PSS-developed saw unit, and Ai4Pallets – the intelligent software that autonomously identifies and controls every pallet.

Ai4Pallets automatically measures the length, width, and height of each pallet, selects the appropriate cutting program (2-, 3-, 4- or 5-layer), and determines the optimal pickup orientation.
During the process, Ai4Pallets dynamically adjusts the cutting height and parameters to ensure that every pallet – regardless of type or condition – is processed accurately.

The operator only needs to ensure a continuous infeed of pallets and outfeed of sawn material.
The Pallet Saw System works fully autonomously and can be integrated into an existing pallet repair line or pallet sorting line.
