Repairing pallets

Pallet repair: efficient and flexible with our Pallet Repair Line

At Pallet Sorting Systems we focus on improving production, Ergonomics, efficiency and data recording.

A seperate pallet repair line offers the following advantages:

  1. The Pallet Repairers get the pallets delivered to the side feed roller conveyor with lift table next to the workbench so they do not have to walk on a pallet to the workbench for repair.
  2. The pallet adjusters must feed the repaired pallets into the discharge line to the stackers, where the pallets are sorted and stacked to desired height.
  3. The forklift driver cannot just drop the stacks to be repaired anywhere, for that the supply roller conveyor is now the appropriate place, and at the repaired pallets he gets just stacked pallets 18 or 20 high.
  4. All repair data such as numbers per workstation, total repaired, type and quality is provided by the Pallet Repair Line and made available in a CSV file.
  • The disadvantage is that the pallet repairers now also have to process pallets without the need for repair, unless there is a pre-sorting by others. This gives a distorted picture in numbers that a person actually repairs.

The advantages of a pallet repair line integrated with a pallet sorting line

  1. The pallet repairers now receive only pallets that need to be repaired via the overhead conveyor. (The good pallets are immediately sorted out in quality and type by 1 sorter)
  2. The pallet repairers must feed the repaired pallets to the stackers, where the pallets are sorted and stacked to the desired height.
  3. With this method, it is realistic to repair 35% more pallets.
  4. All repair data such as numbers per workstation, total repaired, type and quality is provided by the Pallet Repair Line and made available in a CSV file.
  5. You comply with the NEN-ISO 11228-1:2003 en  Ergonomics – Manual handling

More efficient pallet repair with higher output

  • Our Pallet Repair Line automates the process of repairing pallets, including stacking and transport. This increases productivity by up to 35%, as repair workers no longer have to do physically demanding work.
  • Pallet Sorting Systems’ machines are modular and can be easily adapted to changing business needs

PSS SCADA and the PSS App: insight and control for pallet repair

With PSS SCADA and the PSS App, your business gains complete control and insight into the pallet repair process. PSS SCADA generates a detailed daily CSV report with data such as hours worked per employee and the number of pallets repaired by each employee. Additionally, sorting information and the total number of processed pallets are clearly recorded, providing a comprehensive view of performance.

The PSS App offers global, live access to all data from both the pallet sorting and repair lines. This functionality enables managers to monitor progress remotely and quickly address any issues. With PSS SCADA and the PSS App, your business has a powerful toolset for efficient and accurate pallet processing.

A standard pallet repair line

  • Is used by 4 t0t 12 pallet repairers where after pallet repair is done immediately sorting and stacking, The diversity of pallets determines the configuration of number and type of stackers.
  • Is suitable for the most common pallets without changeovers such as: europallets, single pallets, block pallets, GMA pallets and the 1200×1200 pallets.
  • Allows pallet recovery operators to perform up to 35% more recovery work.
  • In which the output of the pallet repairers and the total output and sorting is recorded in a CSV file.
  • Can easily be combined with a Pallet Sorting Line at a later stage or immediately.

The Adjustable Repair Line that not only efficiently handles the most common pallets “as mentioned above”, but also pallets with deviating sizes, such as CP3, CP4, CP5, CP7, CP8 and CP9 Pallets, processed smoothly. The machine is electrically adjustable between 1 and 1.35 meters, making it possible to quickly and accurately sort and repair the pallet with deviating dimensions.

  • Is used by 4 t0t 12 pallet repairers where after pallet repairing is done directly sorting and stacking, The diversity of pallets determines the configuration of number and type of stackers.
  • Is suitable for the most common pallets without changeovers such as: europallets, single pallets, block pallets, GMA pallets and the 1200×1200 pallets.
  • Allows pallet recovery operators to perform up to 35% more recovery work.
  • Where the output of the pallet repairers and the total output and sorting is recorded in a CSV file.
  • Can easily be combined with a Pallet Sorting line at a later stage or immediately.

The Multisorter can also be linked to the Pallet repair line one can link this again with AI4Pallets allowing the multisorter to sort and group the pallets after repair by itself.

  • Depending on the number of robots and sorting stations, 4 to 8 people can work on the pallet repair line.
  • All sizes of pallets can now be repaired interchangeably with a length of 1000 to 1300 MM.
  • Allows pallet repairers to perform up to 35% more repair work.
  • With the output of the pallet repairers and the total output and sorting recorded in a CSV file.
  • Can easily be combined with a Pallet Sorting line at a later stage or immediately.

Repairing and sorting with one machine

Our Pallet Sorting System and Pallet Repair System can be seamlessly combined with each other. This means that you can easily add pallet repair to your sorting line, even after the sorting line is already in place. The repair line is added in any arrangement you want: in a straight line, in a corner arrangement or in a T-arrangement, the Multisorter can fit seamlessly into any arrangement.
